I was born in February 1965 in Indianapolis, IN., but raised on the west coast of FL. I started riding when I was 17 on a Honda CB750F SuperSport and WOW was that thing fast. I learned how to ride fast on that bike and go down HARD, twice! I joined the US Army at 21 and served on Active Duty with them and the Army National Guard for 29 years. I enjoyed serving my Country but after deployments to two combat zones I decided it was time to throw my boots over the line and turn the page.
I’ve always enjoyed riding motorcycles, from the CB750F, Kawasaki’s, Yamaha’s, and now the past 11 years, Harley-Davidson’s. When retiring from the Army I decided to pursue my passion and attend the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) in Orlando. I took courses at MMI for almost 3 years in every manufacture they offered. Doing well at MMI came easy because I had (and still do) the passion to work on motorcycles and the discipline instilled from the military.
I am a PHD certified technician on Harley-Davidson, BMW, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. I graduated MMI on the Directors List with nine Student of the Course awards, and received Top Technician awards for Honda and Kawasaki. I accepted my nomination for Alpha Beta Kappa, but more importantly, I developed a network of professional technicians and friends from the Instructors and peers at MMI. I’ve always enjoyed wrenching on my machines, everyone told me the passion would leave but It’s still there. I love what I do. So that’s me, successful career in the military serving our great Nation achieving the top of my enlisted rank, completed over four years of college with a degree, finished every course at MMI and earning the distinction of Alpha Beta Kappa … and now working at the best independent motorcycle repair facility in Florida. I couldn’t be happier!
